Many don't know this, but Earthlings are on the Galactic Environmental Predator Watch List and we wouldn't be allowed within a thousand feet of that unmolested planet.

No guarantee it's class M though. If it is only 5 billion years old, then it may be, but if it is closer to 10 billion, because it orbits close to it's star it would probably be tidally locked--one side always facing its star and the other always facing away.

In addition, rocky planets do not have oxygen in their atmospheres unless either we terraform them, or if they already have life forms that produce oxygen--meaning the already have an ecosystem that (to be ethical) we perhaps should not dare disturb by invading it.

& stable ecosystems on Earth (Australia, equitorial rainforests) tend to have a diversity of highly niche-evolved, highly venomous animals in abundance; it may be that a stable environment favors the evolution of toxins as a survival tool.

lastly, surface gravity (based on planetary mass which can be inferred from the orbital period) is 3.4 x earth normal. This is about the maximum force permitted on roller coaster rides.

based on the gravity it would be at best marginally habitable for humans & probably better left under the prime directive especially if there are any indigenous life forms. It might provide an interesting foil to observe how dependent evolution is upon environmental challenges.

(aside--I first responded to this because it was re-tweeted by someone using a Star Trek twitname, hence using Trek terms like 'class m' that are not real science.)

There are so many planets that contain life. Unfortunately humans will never get to them because they are too busy killing one another.
