Opinion: Conservatives were right about Bill Clinton; once he failed to resign he really deserved to be impeachedhttp://nyti.ms/2AUM94L

If conservatives honestly cared about his behavior with women, of course they never would've voted for Trump, especially over 16 other options. Or in the general. And they wouldn't continue to support him. But they did/do all those things. They never actually cared about this.

They certainly hated him, and they definitely used his behavior with women against him, but it was never the true, underlying reason they despised him. Trump proves that.

And yes, what he did with Lewinsky was an abuse of power. It's true he was a serial philanderer. Did he commit rape? Personally, I don't know that I believe that. The way Broaddrick weaponized it politically makes me wonder if it's true.

I also remember Clinton as an incredible public figure, and a true patriot. He led this nation incredibly well. In so many ways, let's be very careful not to lump him with the traitor who currently occupies the White House, either as a man, a human being or as a leader.

These people are not the same. Clinton had his sins, and he paid for them, but that's never why Republicans actually hated him. Or his wife. Had to do with societal change they feared and despised. Clinton's philandering was the excuse to attack him.

He was impeached, had a trial and was found not guilty. He was impeached for lying to a grand jury about an extramarital affair not sexual harassment or assault. 1) lets not rewrite history 2) he was investigated & had his day in court. Now it's @realDonaldTrump turn

out of curiosity , if you lied to a GRAND JURY and found guilty , how much prison time do you think you would get ? Bc the Clintons showed the world that you can get away with anything if your rich and powerful enough

He was found NOT guilty. As for lying under oath, ask @jeffsessions he's done it over & over & over also lying on his security clearance form along for @DonaldJTrumpJr & Jared Kushner. Have they had their day in court yet?

I wonder what the media would do without the Clintons. They get conspiracy theories, meanwhile Trump has actually been accused of tons of realities. He admitted misconduct sexually, oh and his administration is getting indicted. Focus media.
