Totally makes sense to decrease the person's possibilities to pay the loan back even further.

It's the very same logic applied when parents fall behind on child support payments.

We need to make it ILLEGAL. Even if you owe money to the govt, I think taking away your ability to work should count as an abusive debt collection practice.

That is counterproductive so how will the person catch up. We are so backwards in this world sometimes. So sad.

The point is that eventually they can be arrested and forced to labor in prison (13th amendment allows it).

The student loan/college institution scam is the biggest racketeering juggernaut since the home mortgage scandal. Watch out when this bubble bursts. The devastation may be irreparable. Avoid student loans at all costs- they are sucking the livability out of this nation!

Yes makes perfect sense!!! Taking away a persons income will definitely make them pay their student loan. What moron came up with this solution??? 🤬

Disallowing deduction of student loan interest, as in the Trump/Ryan "tax plan," would make it harder to pay back the loans. Then, after the people are fired...
