Dumbing the country down is clearly a priority.

Did you notice that the posts in support of this change are barely discernible as being written in English? And that they didn’t bother to actually read or learn about the situation. MAKE AMERICA NORMAL AGAIN!! IMPEACH TRUMP NOW!!

I 100% noticed that! I thought it was some kind of slang I’m not familiar with, but they really make no sense at all!

Do you know any graduate research student, in any field of science, that can afford to pay 80,000 a year w/o a waiver unless they're rich? That's who this article is talking about. It's discouraging graduate research students from getting a masters or PhD.

Are you capable of breaking that bias lens of yours for even a moment? Any person with some degree of sanity KNOWS that to have a thriving country, you need education. So, no, it's not just about making a living with a degree. It's also about contributing back. Full stop.

Does that mean that there degress were meaningless for want. For wanting to contribute their being a grad student that pigeon holes student's that build things or are 'creative'. The moochy grad students that have no ingenuity to speak to or of as teacher's assistants to bias.

This is bull****. Their effective tax rate under proposed changes would be at or near zero. Author apparently not a finance or math grad student.

Under House passed plan, this grad student’s effective rate would be about 6% and reduced further by any donations, mortgage expense or local taxes paid (to 10k) or child tax credit. Would probably pay $0 when all is said and done. Glad he is not finance major.
