They should go back after the infrastructure is repaired. Its too much of a hardship/burden on Floridians.

If you didn't have electricity for a few months in your city, you'd move too. Poor Floridians, such tough times for you. Thoughts and prayers.

Instead of moving, I could (and should) take matters into my own hands and build a generator. People who flee in the face of hardship shouldn't be welcomed; they'll eat their fill and move again when the next hardship stikes.

Most people aren't mechanical engineers. Please elaborate on building this generator? I'd genuinely like to know. The fact is, all power should have been restored by this point in time. Then you wouldn't have to worry about not welcoming people.

You have the Internet. If you genuinely wanted to learn, you'd use it. Even if they are completely incapable (doubtful; PR has a large enough pop that at least one person has the knowledge), they should still stay put.

The person who will abandon family and neighbors when confronted with hardship won't stick around to help us when we face hard times. They'll flee again. Refugees are a lost cause.

Well they’re US citizens, not refugees. And not a lost cause. They can move anywhere in the god damn US they want.
