Now we just need everybody to drink from a tap rather than throw away millions upon millions of plastic water bottles.

Except a lot of people have tap water that they can’t drink. I refuse to drink city water from the tap. But when we had well water, we never had bottled water unless we were out somewhere.

That's true in a very few places. 99.x% of people can't use that excuse.

I’m sure the percentage of Americans with adequate tap water is much lower than 99% 🙄 I’d venture to say maybe 75% or maybe even as high as 80% can/should be able to drink tap water. But I seriously doubt it’s much higher than that.

You think 65M people have unsafe water? Flint is 102k. Where are the rest? I'm going with 99.999% clean leaving 325k with reasonable bottle use.

Btw. Plastic bottle use was 50 Billion (B) last year. Let's not spread tap water conspiracy theories to justify it. https://www.banthebottle.net/bottled-water-facts/ …

I've 100% cut soda out of my diet and quit smoking this year. It helps tons.

We cut out soda over the summer. Now we only have a little bit if we are at a party or something. Just seems gross now though, after not drinking it for so long!

Even the kids aren’t allowed to drink as much juice as they used to. If anything, they can have a packet of a flavor mix that has no added artificial sweeteners.

We’ve already seen a change in just a few months! Both of the younger ones are trimming down nicely. The oldest has always been a toothpick. But even he went from a 2L bottle of soda a week, to one a month.
