Dejected that liberal billionaires mostly spend their money trying to cure disease or stop climate change while conservative billionaires mostly buy media outlets to push lies and propaganda, polluting our democracy and solidifying oligarchy.

They’ve crossed a line & they can’t go back. I’m putting my money on the nose of the system of checks & balances surviving their pathetic attempt to usurp the United States to circle jerk with Putin. 🤭Sorry to sound crass, but the metaphors seem to choose themselves these days

The Koch bros are probably upset that their master plan of slowly, quietly pulling a fast one on America and creating an oligarchy has only 3/4 worked - the missing 1/4 turns out to be press, it is what is informing the #resistance and opposition in Congress.

Hopefully the press will remain loyal to the truth.

I wrote a paper about Regan’s killing of the Fairness Doctrine at that time. It was obvious even then that it would hasten the death of balance in the broadcast media.

u cannot sell legitimate journalistic publications anymore to right wing ideologues. It only serves to act as an ideological mouthpiece for the owner under the guise of a legitimate organization. Look at Fox News w Rupert Murdoch as prime example...
