        It would take about 50k years to get there at the current method of travel. Even if we could somehow develop a spacecraft that could go the speed of light it would take 11 years

        So, if we could travel at 186,000 miles per second, which we can't, it would only take about 11 years to get there. Or several hundred thousand years with current technology.
