The Affordable Care Act’s individual mandate is unpopular. So why not just get rid of it?http://nyti.ms/2hubmeU

Because it'd leave 13,000,000 more people uninsured and skyrocket the cost of premiums, all to give billionaires and corporations an *even bigger* tax cut they sure as shit don't need. We need to protect the #ACA and y'all need to stop shilling for the Financier Class.

It's the conservative, fiscally responsible part of the bill! It's the only way continued, privatized medicine would work.

It's called a free market take away the governments blank checks and watch the prices plummet. We shouldn't subsidize any business in America

Cause it is the glue that holds the whole damn thing together. Put it this way: The composition of the #ACA is like Jenga tower. The Mandate is the bottom layer of blocks, more specifically..the bottom right block. Only an idiot would remove the bottom block.pic.twitter.com/cBPyxpPLeD

It would raise rates for everyone. I have to buy auto insurance for my car. Why do I need It? It's required. It spreads the risks over many people rather than a limited amount of people. I haven't had an accident in years.
