Normal blood pressure guidelines have changed a lot in the past decades. Who profits from the change? Big Pharma 👹

More $ to big pharma and insurance. 140/90 is high, 130/80 means work on lifestyle changes before you try meds. I'm a Cardiac Rehab RN. Ugh ugh ughhhhh. Just like lowering fasting sugar levels getting a chronic disease label is not a solution.

Another tactics by the pharma lobby to peddle more drugs and also charge exorbitant insurance premiums. It's a shame they have managed to corrupt the whole political establishment for their selfish gains. An example of unbridled capitalism and unethical behaviour.
