As the US becomes less certain and reliable Canada is rapidly expanding trade deals with other countries and trading blocs.

Wouldn't surprise me if shunning U.S. goods becomes a world-wide form of teaching Trump a lesson in free trade.

Hey, don't make as if Canada is winning here. Trumps cronies are grinding Canada on NAFTA. Huge tariffs on lumber, 220% on Bombardier. Canada is USAs biggest customer but going to re-source now thru TPP. 🇨🇦already has a deficit with🇺🇸. Billy Sad.

The Bombardier tariffs are not set in stone, was lumber and dairy being price dumped? Hell yeah it was. But not the CSeries, Boeing doesn't make a comparable seat-market 100-150 pax aircraft.

You're wrong on the soft wood lumber tariffs. Canada allows logging of crown land, true. But then they charge a stumpage fee basically equiv to lumbers cos purch of rights. Anyway, construction costs up 20% in US, I'm ok with that

Thanks Trump. Our Prime Minister flew to Europe to work a trade deal with the EU just a couple of weeks after you threatened to tear up NAFTA. Like our PM says...we can't sit idly by and hope NAFTA works out. I'm sure things were already prepped but the trip timing was perfect.
