You are certainly misguided into thinking all white people are racist. I take care of a little black child & I love her family.

we have been indoctrinated - from birth = every day - for 60+ years - to believe white people are racists this article is another example of the constant force feeding I DON'T BELIEVE IN RACISM

Ekow Yankah needs to take a serious look inward. His answer to racial bias he perceives is to teach racial bias to his own children. If there is so much discrimination he couldn't possibly hold degrees from Columbia and Oxford.

If a president's actions, Trump or any other, then you have no free will and only act as directed by an authority figure. That is no way for somebody to live their life. I served in the military with pretty much all races & backgrounds. Made great friendships with many of them.

One of those men was Shawn Simmons, an African-American that served on the same SFOD-A with me for several years. He was tragically killed in Afghanistan in June 2008. Great soldier and even better friend. When somebody offended him in Chile, it was I that stepped forward.

Shawn just blew the insult off, but I took up for him over what the Chilean said to him. I don't look at my friends for what color they are, what part of the US they came from. I see them solely as being my friends.

Just because you have a willingness to be friends with PoC does not make you the majority of whites. Nor does it reduce the burdens on PoC imposed by whites. Stop looking at this personally.

I completely disagree. I’ve met & interacted w/ thousands of people in my lifetime. I have friends of all nationalities! It is waaay more uncommon to hear or see racism. Ppl this day & age are waaay more evolved & don’t consider skin color like it’s bein portrayed.

How many close black friends do you have? How many PoC, especially women, are your peers or superiors in the workplace? How many sit on your city council, your school board, your party’s committee, and your church committees? What % of incarcerated are PoC in your state?

I want my kids to play with and have friends of varied races and cultures. I don’t want them to normalize one kind of people and see everyone else as not normal. But I’m finding it increasingly difficult due to a trend of self-segregation happening. Not good for America. 🇺🇸

Well it’s partly because diversity doesn’t mean black, white, Asian etc. to the liberal media. Diversity to them means no white people.

Could be. We want to believe not, but all we have to do is scan headlines of left leaning media. It’s not unusual to notice a perspective that white people are bad and non-white people are victims. It’s all just editorial framing by media, of course, but effective nonetheless.
