And we’ve left comedian Kathy Griffin to twist in the wind alone. What she did was perhaps a expression of anger but her First Amendment right. However she apologized but was still shunned, fired from CNN and black balled by venues across the country. For a joke.

The great Indian monk Swami Vivekananda once said:"The society where women are not respected can never prosper".

Women have a right to be more angry. Women are half the population and yet can have their rights legislated away. Also, every other shitty thing since forever. Bring the anger, if you want.

"...success and safety, bestowed conditionally, aren’t success and safety at all. They are domestication and implied violence." This struck me to my core. Brilliant.

'Women are seething...' Seriously, men. We might want to do something about this... When 50% of the population is angry, there's a problem

I am sick and tired of women not being believed when they complain about being sexually assaulted. It is a no win situation for them. Look how many women had to complain about Cosby before they were believed! Look at how women who do complain are treated!
-
Sure, Molly. It's a problem of culture though. No one should be ashamed to talk about being sexually assaulted, therein lies the problem.
-
The problem also is how these women are attacked and harassed for making the complaint. That is a major problem.

It is important to remember that harassment is when you have been told to stop your advances and continue, and sexual assault is when you make a physical move that was rejected and you continue. If you experience harassment, report it, and no means no.
-
No, one does not have to say "stop" in order for harassment to be harassment, and one does not have to reject anything for an assault to be an assault. That's not how this works.
-
Actually legally in the workplace they do need to be told to stop. If they continue after being told, then it is legally harassment.

Now we have Roy Moore, a US Senate candidate, who sexually assaulted a 14 year old girl and Republicans in Alabama said they don't care and will vote for him anyway! Sick and shameful.
