Louis CK is a better man than Donald Trump, or Roy Moore, or Harvey Weinstein, or Anthony Weiner. That's setting a low bar, but yes, he clears it.

Exactly. The only thing he's sorry for are the facts coming out about his sick, disgusting, illegal behavior.

He acknowledged the pain he caused, he didnt ask for forgiveness because he knows what he did takes time if its ever forgiven, the victims and his fans wont forgive him any time soon, but i do think he regrets his actions

I liked the guy. Thought he was funny, still do. What he did was wrong but at least he is doing something. He only admitted to it due to recent events. But I haven't heard anyone else come out and say they were wrong.

That’s not on the table. Acknowledge that he admits it from the start and at the very LEAST hold our elected officials to that standard.

I find this dynamic of public shaming very interesting, and sad. Don’t watch his stuff anymore and don’t buy tix to his shows. But IMHO only the women whose feelings he hurt have the right not to forgive him if they don’t want to.

So no-one else has the right to not forgive him? Completely not getting your point. So we all have to forgive him? We dont have the right to not forgive him? What am I missing

My syntax was horrible, my opinion is that people shouldn’t judge him or be truly angry with him because of things he “did” to other people.

Of course the victims opinions and feelings are the upmost priority. But I think it's fair that his fans can feel let down and angry and cheated. It's not comparable in any way to what the victims feel. But it's a natural reaction for his fans I believe.

I understand some are disappointed, but it’s not like LouisCK held himself up to be a paragon of sexual virtue... it seems silly to get angry at stars unless you were personally affected. That kind of anger eats fans from the inside out, it hurts them more than the celebrities.

What else would rather him do? Die? I believe he's being honest about his regret. I think if there was something he could do, in addition to owning up to it and apologizing, he'd do it. So, what - in your opinion - would be adequate compensation?
