An apology should include an actual apology.

Whether his response was genuine or not, it was spot on for calling out the anguish and guilt that victims feel. Seems he's one of the few who realize the enormity of what he did and the terrible consequences of his actions.

"An" is correct - "An N. Y. T." - "A" would be correct if they spelled it out: "A New York Times."

Most read a well known acronym like that in full as “New York Times” so I would use “A”.

I read based on the structure or context clues, since it had "an", I read it as N. Y. T. If it had "A" then I would have read it how you stated. We all read differently though.

That’s why I asked the question. The tweet would’ve been better if it said “our” anyway.

So he apologized, that does nothing for the victims. What does something for the victims is not being a creep in the first place.

I am with you on this one - did nobody realize when Rosie came out and said she was aware of these things and glad it has came out - that she was complicit by never reporting it?

Well when we have cases of 300 victims to the same perpetrator "Wait & Heal" is off the table.

Well, it's a better apology than 'I don't remember, I was drunk, BTW I'm gay.' But then, he is a writer.

Except for the part that he never apologized...he said he took advantage of women b/c they "admired" him....narcissistic and arrogant but also a desperately false claim as well..they never admired..they were his coworkers and colleagues..why would they admire a pervert?
