It should be required for everyone who sends thoughts & prayers while military grade weapons, ammo clips & bump stocks are sanctioned for sale in the public domain.

No, such videos motivate those who would engage in a similar act. It is also disrespectful to victims. Finally there is nothing to be gained by seeing such acts - apart from voyeuristic thrills.

Columbine crime scene videos have been used as an instructional video for law enforcement and school security.

Dear God, no. If we worry about glorifying spree killers or mass shooters, that's the very worst thing we could do. And for the public to see such things could further inure us to violence. No.

What happened to the right to know? Yes make it public...it happened, deal with that!

"The right to know"? Is that one of those 'god given rights ' americans like to speak of?

Depends on whose permission you usually seek when you want to know stuff. To me it's an intrinsic part of being human thus a right. Why would one not want to know?

Learning and accumulating knowledge is one thing - watching the execution of defenceless people is not something the general public needs IMO.

Okay...but is it not possible to learn and accumulate knowledge from watching that public execution? For instance in aiding criminal profiling? I don't advocate voyeuristic watching..

This is exactly voyeuristic watching unless you are a professional who has to deal with it. As an RN the sherrif's department brought graphic crime photos and I can still see them. In no way did they help me be a better nurse. The more people see this the greater desensitized.

So it would be better for 'someone in authority professional ' to decide for me what I should or not see? However atrocious? Unless for children, I think as an adult I reserve that choice for myself. After all the same is re enacted in box Office versions and no one complains

Yeah it would, boyo. I can guarantee you will miss 100% of the horror as they have yet to develop smells and textures that go with this butchery. Authority is not a bad thing but then it certainly did not stop this little man nor the voyeurs who want to see it.

Definitely not. We don't post graphic photos or videos of car crashes, drownings, or suicides, so why should this be any different?

Well for one you can’t compare mass shootings to any of those instances, and two because it’s raw and people really have to deal with that shit. We have lawmakers who don’t seem to value life because they’re so far removed
