I think if you’re killing large amounts of people you sanity is beyond questionable. I hope most other researchers agree. Wow

Yet with a few rare exceptions, the overwhelming majority of those who are "heavily armed" never commit a mass murder... Correlation and causation, Howard.

Perhaps, my point was that we better background checks, we can decrease, even if not illuminate, attacks like those in Texas.

No, your "point" was that they were all heavily armed, i.e. If heavily armed = more likely for a mass shooting. Which is simply not true.

Heavily armed are more likely to do a mass shooting. You could only kill one person at a time with a handgun, A few at most. Mass casualties require assault weapons.

Completely false. Do the math. 350M+ guns in America injured no one yesterday. Lots of guns ≠ more likely to commit mass murder Go and learn more about the subject matter. A semi-auto pistol and Semi-auto AR15 function exactly the same way. No faster or more dangerous.

If you think an AR15 is not MORE dangerous than a semi auto HANDGUN, why do you need an AR15? You're the one who doesn't know enough about guns.

A big part of the problem lies in semantics. It first needs to be recognized that the medical/psychological definition and criteria for insanity can differ greatly from the legal ones

Not being able to cope with life's disappointments and rejections rationally speaks volumes. Plenty of mental illness in that statement

Belle, I get your point. Here's what the article says: "They have a passing thought. They think about it more, they fantasize, they slowly build a justification. They prepare, and then when the right set of circumstances comes along, it unleashes the rage.”

I live in ground-zero for road rage in the U.S. Some perfectly normal honorable decent people can get completely unglued and murderous. It starts with fantasizing about a vehicle equipped with machine guns, then righteous indignation about flagrant speeders, then...
