What did Bernie Sanders learn about Canada's health system? Doctors like free health care as much as patients do.http://nyti.ms/2zdpa5E

Americans pay less in taxes, it’s not free, every province has its own government health plan and budgets and not treated equally across Canada, federal government picks up some funding but we still pay higher taxes and cost of living is higher depending where you live!

But yes it’s nice to walk in emergency or drs office and the only card you give is your health card and not your credit card, and if you have a good insurance with your employer, your prescriptions, dental and massage therapy and vision is covered

It's not free. It's 40% of every province's budget. And the service is terrible. If you want to learn more, reach out to me.

I had acute appendicitis 2 weeks ago and waited in emergency for 5 hours. Finally went home after not having been seen.

That's just wrong! Bring that to the papers or the authorities! Marketplace would eat that up! My point was not service but availability.

In Canada that is what we expect. It would be news if service was actually good. We have to go to a US hospital to have good service

Ever had anything delivered by government that was efficient and effective? I haven’t. Private service delivery is vastly superior.

Vastly superior except for the $15K bill you wouldve got and for everyone who doesn't have money/coverage. Ugh.

I've always had excellent medical care here in Canada. Lying politicians are playing you people for suckers. Health care for profit sucks.

I know it's tough taking care of all the people you have there... What with all the folks lining up to get in, its probably overwhelming.
