So we're upset because voter's are more influenced by an ad and not the candidates stance on issues? Can anyone else see the problem here?

The purpose is chaos, exactly how Putin operates in Russia. Inflaming, stirring, creating conflict, all the while discrediting the credible.

Ads do affect what people are led to believe. Analogous to Trump’s “ad-like” & irresponsible statements & rally cry of #FakeNews #Resist 🇺🇸

please keep trying to get everyone to believe that <$50K of social media ads had more effect than the 10s of $Ms of dollars spent by the campaigns in 2016. Just shows how idiotic the left still is and bodes well for GOP in 2018

Okay, so that non-Russia planted story drove what, 10, 50 voters with 1 nut-job going over the edge? Are you saying the $100M+ by campaigns influenced less than people feelings less than that? Just because someone reacts to fake news does not make it more influential.

Frankly the media is playing the cards like the Russia backed ads impacted our ability to chose a candidate more than any campaign add, debate, or other news story. That vision they are presenting is what I am calling #fakenews, I am not saying they had no influence

I'm picking up more on influenced. Most ppl decide well before any election based on party affiliation & their top issues.

Dems need to work on a vision for the country other than we hate Trump, white people are racist, America is the main evil in the world, and patriotism is really not a good thing. Then they may be able to influence more than a few $K worth of Russia ads
