When I lived in AZ, where they do not observe, I didn’t even notice. We don’t need it.

AZ is the only state that doesn't observe daylight savings. It's too hot there. Nobody in PHX wants an extra hour of sun in the summer.

Getting rid of DST means we wouldn’t continue to spring forward. It’s too dark in the morning to not fall back

DST starts in the spring. It was implemented to preserve sunlight in the summer. Getting rid of it means we shouldn’t spring forward

It means we pick a time and stay with it year round. There will be no need for springing nor falling.

I understand that. They want to stop DST and not fall back. When in reality, if we stop DST, it should be after it ends in the fall

What? No, should stop before falling back. Falling back, sun sets @ 5. If we don’t, it sets @ 6. No DST, sets @ 8 in summer instead of 9.
