Please If I may ask,,who are those that will vote in that election? Is it not same people who voted to leave Spain?
#Freedom#Catalonia -
Not at all. We are 7.5 millions of people. Just 2 of them want to leave Spain. But they make a lot more noise.
-
Exactly
-
You are Spanish and not Catalan....Catalan have spoken and so shall it be....Unity by force is slavery. The Truth is Freedom.
-
I'm catalan. Only a part of catalan has spoken so far. The remaining 5 millions will do on 21st Dec, according to the law and the respect.
-

Catalonia has no chance of survival as a nation. Who's gonna recognize them outside of that part of the country ? What army do they have ?
-

Escalating? It is appalling to see the
@nytimes choosing sides like this -
Parties representing 47% of vote declared independence against the advise of their own legal team and calling a snap election is escalating?
-
So how would you want this to end?
-
A true election. Funnily enough, results are likely to look a lot like those in 2015, but after a significant reality check for all sides.
-
It would have been a true election if Spain had just let it happen. But no.... It had to be a big man and go in hard. Shameful.
-
Indy gov refused to call an election and unilaterally declared independence instead: sadly, this was the only way. Check your facts.
-
So requesting dialogue with Spain repeatedly and being ignored in your eyes is not asking for a general election?
-
Exactly. Catalan PM was invited repeatedly to the Congress and Senate and refused to show up. Again: discussing this requires some reading.
