This was supposed to be the month he became eligible for loan forgiveness. Then he learned he'd have to start over.http://nyti.ms/2zcmVCo

The 1st party that ends accrued interest on student loans will win millenials 4 generations. Have them pay back principal. Forgive interest

Deplorable to charge interest on education loans. My IBR recert was denied yesterday so I too have to start over. It's a scam.

Millenials can't save 4 a home or a family because of these exorbitant interest rates. That's the main reason I want something done for them

Payment will double. It got denied because I filed my taxes jointly with my wife. Essentially I got penalized for finding love 🤷🏻‍♂️

Least they could do is make all payments toward interest tax deductible. The $2,500 / yr now is basically useless in most payback plans

This is disgusting. Germany, Sweden, and even Slovenia have #FreeCollegeEd, which we could easily pay for by taxing Wall St. speculation.

The banks are today's robber barons. Greedy schools do nothing to protect innocent students, who get sucked into a lifetime of debt.

That was the plan, create a generation that would begin adult hood with a lifetime of debt. It's all a scam and it needs to change.

If these programs are so complex that they are not transparent to the people who are counseling folks on the phone, maybe that's a problem.

Better exit counseling could have prevented this. I remember going over in excruciating detail w a counselor the right plan for forgiveness.

The edu loan industry is a huge scam. College prices have skyrocketed as public funding shrinks. Students get trapped in a lifetime of debt.

Here's a solution: stop using your universities as a sports complex. Reduce tuition to a reasonable, affordable rate & teach academia again.
