        You never tried to see if you could qualify for an exemption of the additional tax? http://healthcare.gov  has those tools. Go there, now.

        IM an independent contractor. They offer me nothing. It’s cool. I’ve lost 70# and quit smoking 2ya. I’ve avoided doctors this far.

        The only tax reduction I was offered was if I signed up for $540/ month with a $12k deductible. I can’t afford that. 😬
