Good, no one should be allowed face coverings in public spaces. It's dangerous
-
That's the whole thing it would be different if we were not dealing with cracra ass situations but if something were to happen identify how?
-
Yep, also what's to stop any criminal or evil doer from disguising themselves this way and committing atrocities? It's been done before, hell even our own military used the burkas as disguises last year, allowing them to get close to enemy.
-
It's sad because to those women its akin to taking off their shirt. They probably feel humiliated
-
Only because they been brainwashed, they're terrified of the consequences for removing the burka in the presence of non family men, they would be severely punished. The full burka is an oppressive, torture device for women. The hijab, hair coverings, are in line with Islamic laws
-
Ah So what does that mean for the women there since this law is in effect? Will M men will become abusive to put them in their place?
-
They already have an issue with treating their women fair and equally, it comes with the culturepic.twitter.com/YKGNTcAnTg

This is what you get when there isn't a First Amendment.
-
Freedom of expression and religion is covered by the Canadian constitution.
-
And yet Quebec says "no veils/hijabs/burkas" on public transit. Sounds like Canadian freedom doesn't measure up.
-
There will be a constitutional challenge and it will be overturn. The provincial Liberal gvt is targeting the soft separatists vote.

Um, I'm Muslim and I am glad that they made this law. Because NO WHERE in ISLAM does it state that women need to hide their face.!!!
-
Religious requirement or not, anything that totally obscures your face should be banned.
-
Regardless of religion if you want to cover your body or not don’t you think it is your choice and no one else so why can’t they.
-
Anything that conceals the face sb banned mostly 4 security concerns, but also bc an obscured face does not foster integration/community.
-
As long as it for the right reason that it is perfectly fine; however, when it is because we look down in people that is a different
-
Western culture promotes community because we wear our faces everywhere we go. When identity is concealed, it weakens our connections.
-
And that is your right to wear whatever you want how would you feel when they force you to cover your face or walked naked
-
You know what. Niqabis are absolutely wrong. Do they not know the world they live in? Are they not aware that they scare people. No shame.
