Newsworthy at least to show "even" Texas inmates seem to be more empathic/caring than POTUS. Sad times.

Pretty impressive for inmates that don't have much money !!! I hope they will care about themselves and live a better life when released

Everyone in jail has a story. Not everyone in jail should be there. Lots of ppl who care about themselves and lead good lives end up in jail

That isn't to say that there aren't bad people in prison, but rather to highlight the fact that the USA jails more ppl than *anywhere* else

Americans don't behave worse than other people around the world, but we sure punish people with less humanity and empathy than other places

To those of us in prison ministry, this is no surprise. Inmates want to show they are Americans too. They want to sacrifice for common good.

Sometimes it's hard to see the good through all the bad, but stories like this help remind us it's still there. :)

So what you’re telling us is that convicted criminals have more empathy for people suffering than the sitting President? This is NOT #MAGA
