        I think @nytimes shouldn't publish views of Taliban or any other extremist group, also there are dozens of Taliban factions each with dozens of commanders and all don't follow Islamic principles of war, most are involved in criminal activities.

        Actually that’s quite possible. They perceived Taliban as a monolithic group before leaving only to find out that its a collection of groups with varying ideologies.
