I always liked my primary care doctor personally. But I often questioned his judgment in medical matters.http://nyti.ms/2ggOUJ5

22% of pairings between clients and counselors don't work out. Stop assuming every fit between provider/patient is going to work. Transfer.

Good point. Sidebar- what's your take on calling pts "clients"? As a nurse, it's always bothered me but maybe you have a different take?

As a nurse practitioner I cannot recall how many times pts are stunned when I physically examine them. Their MD did no exam in YEARS.

I was just talking about this the other day! I got more help at Urgent care than I did with my primary for my borderline blood pressure

If ur doctor is not being a doctor it's time to find a new doctor. If you don't have faith in ur doctor it's time to find a new doctor.

AI with 20 questions & weight, blood pressure, basic blood and urine analysis would provide a better faster more effective service.

I’ve fired 4. All because office admin folks were rude or careless. Docs can”t manage staff get fired.

Older folk should choose cardiologist/gerontologist as "primary care" doc. Might not help with runny nose but more likely to keep you alive.
