        Yes, but unlike the burning of oil and other fossil fuels, the CO2 bound in trees are part of the cycle.

        These fires must just occur naturally. I didn't know the CO2 bound in trees were different than CO2 bound in fossil fuels. It's all the same

        It's all the same but the CO2 bound underground in fossil fuels hasn't been part of the system for millions of years.
