I'm sorry teens are anxious, but it might have something to do w/ the PC endoctrination going on in schools

"PC" Is code for "I miss the good old days when we could behave like assholes and no one told us that we shouldn't." It's INDOCTRINATION btw

Not at our house! I had way more stress growing up creative (aka "weird"). My creative kids have found their tribe all over the world.

Because people are more aware of it. A lot of it is just stress and normal every day struggles but in 2017 we have a larger vocabulary.

It’s not though. When I was a kid, I would be so anxious about school I wouldn’t eat or sleep for days on end. I was a straight A student.

I would wake up every morning a throw up for an hour because I was so fucked up. Anxiety is real and not just “normal stress”

Luckily my parents are badasses and got me to therapy and I’ve been an antidepressants for 8 years. I’m much less anxious and very happy.

Because life is scary, college is expensive, job prospects sad, high expectations, materialistic-classist society.......why not be anxious?

Plus we're constantly pressured to succeed under a completely nonsensical system that encourages grades over learning.

I mean other than impending doom and content pressure things are pretty chill. We have no money, but at least we aren't dead.
