Tactical move on part of @NRA, concede on bump stocks to move focus off of assault weapons and then wait for outrage to cool. #guncontrol

@NRA is complicit in every mass shooting, but this is a help. Loss of life in LV would have been much lower without bump stocks.

Agreed, but this doesn’t mean that we’ll see any real change in the NRA’s opposition to sensible gun laws overall.

The super-brave NRA has concluded that 50 casualties/minute may just be too much.

NRA should close the door for good. We the American people are sick and tire of it. NRA=death for America.

So now the cowardly @GOP can take a position knowing their campaign donations won't be cut off. They are the definition of Deplorable.

Now that the NutjobRA has spoken out about specific guns, maybe their paid spokespeople (the Republican Party) can now open a dialogue.

Fuck the NRA. They knew the bump stock was dangerous. They only speak up now because 500+ were shot.

Bump stocks are prob a low-profit item. I bet gunmakers will prob start including them, an automatic upgrade.
