The real problem is not event security, it is the lack of gun control in this country. "Aerial Assault" wouldn't be a threat without guns

So, DC sniper or Univ of TX didn’t illustrate a shooter acting from afar/above? Or the fact that guns are longer range weapons by nature?

Next we'll be hearing that all buildings will have all windows installed with some sort of glass break detection.

Now at open venues will need snipers for protection. The laws were written with intent for a baseline, World is changing so must the laws.

The root of this tragedy is the gun laws. Easy access to guns that can fire hundreds of rounds a minute.

That event planners must plan for terrorist scenarios shows you how much a threat automatic & military grade weapons are to public safety

I never would have thought of it, but a sick person with guns would. What he did was "easy." I guess we need to xray bags entering hotels.

WE are not looking to take away all guns that is impossible.Just ban assault rifles. We had this ban until 2003and no one was bothered by it

Why don’t you ban knives and hammers they kill more people than assault rifles per year.
