Even at major hotels, security teams are often lightly staffed and poorly paidhttp://nyti.ms/2fF9FKK

What difference does it make if they’re paid more? Get to the root of the issue. Ban the sale of assault weapons. #GunControl

Just because he was there 4 days doesn’t mean that arsenal he had was in the room 4 days. He could have had everything locked in his car until the morning of, then brought it up bit by bit, bag by bag.

Who knows, man. Unfortunately about 95% of the security in a casino/resort is focused on the gaming floor. It’s not the fault of Mandalay Bay, that’s just how it is.

Where he lives is also not far outside of Vegas. Could have gone home, grabbed everything and been back in his hotel room in 2 hrs.

As long as LV or any city hosts huge gun shows, we can’t keep large numbers of weapons out of hotels. Oh & no gun laws

This has nothing to do with hotel security. The gunman should’ve never been allowed to stockpile an armory of weapons.

Secuirty guards 364 days a year, looked down on & not respected & underpaid! We need more money, better training & more staff!

I say 364 days a year as there is one day where we are expected to act like heros and prevent crime or in this case #LasVegasMassacre

Security guards should only have to deal with pests & rude customers not bullets. I don’t think you could pay anyone enough to take on that

I agree, but I for one would go above and beyond what is expected of me if it meant potentially saving a life.

That’s a great attitude but I wouldn’t want you to lose your life when you have a young family or something to go home to.
