Something else Trump had to open his bigoted mouth about. He causes division and hate whenever he can. He's NOT a leader!

Oh please. Trump doubles down even when he DOES believe he's losing or makes a mistake. Remember #Covfefe? Could not even admit to a typo.

*nods* It's a special kind of arrogant tackiness to not be capable of self-deprecating humor over such a universally shared foible. SMH

People are not protesting the anthem. Can you at least try to get the headline right? Maybe "Protests During the Anthem..."?

Careful here, team owners. When Trump accuses you of being afraid of your players (meaning RESPECTFUL), he's demanding that you fear HIM.

Why do we need the National Anthem at sporting events? Just remove it from the pregame ritual. Problem solved.

Did you know the DoD paid the NFL to have players present for the anthem? Before 2009 they stayed in the locker room. Waste of taxes.

I did, which is why all this outrage is especially stupid. It’s not even a 10-year-old tradition, much less a necessary part of the game.

If @NFL wants their games to be just about football, they need to stop POLITICIZING them by using flag, anthem, and flyovers.
