Don’t they already have access to the accounts though? This is just a way to expedite the process that they already do. Also, I’m typing more than usual because twitter added a circle instead of character limits and I’m trying to fill it. I think this is too long of a comment.

Are you one of the beta accounts?
-
I suppose so. I did nothing to merit this though. There is something dissatisfying about sending tweets or responses without filling up the entire circle... you should enjoy the 160 character limit until you have to live with this kind of pressure.
#280CharacterTweet -
WOW, random. 280 imo is 2much.It's no longer a tweet. It's a tweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet. Just 2much.Who has that much time to sit and compose?

Perspective: If someone posted "Death to America" on FB, then immigrated and killed people - You'd be furious why the feds didn't check FB.
-
Perspective: Living in state controlled by police/military state means American ideal already dead. We're just another piece of real estate.
-
I'm a big advocate of small government, so I completely agree. But reading your already public statements seems like a no brainer.
-
I would be totally against hacking or spying into private conversations, but what you said in the public square is fair game in my opinion.

Or properly vet and
#prevent#attacks like#SanBernardino, where#terrorists posted#radical#rhetoric on#social#media#platforms. -
There are a lot more Americans who commit attacks than immigrants. So I assume you think it's OK to search their social media too?
-
Of course and it is already happening, if you put it on the internet it isn't private. Social media monitoring is a regular part of the law enforcement and intelligence apparatus.
-
As long as the information is used properly that's fine. But are we going to start banning people who engage in nonviolent protest?
-
I didn't say that. It doesn't say that in the article.
-
No you're right it doesn't. But we know that this administration is hell-bent on keeping immigrants out. It's a slippery slope.
-
This started voluntarily under the Obama administration. You're making assumptions to support your hysteria. If someone applying for entry has a social media footprint detailing violent rhetoric or potential attacks they should be flagged for further review.
-
Hysteria?? It's not an assumption that the Trump admin wants to reduce immigration. That's actual policy.
