Federal base rate is unrealistic.Even raising it to $11 wouldn't add up to cost of living in most states.

That is fair, but min wage should not be set to rent. We have all had roommates to share costs as we learned higher demand skills.

In 2020 they'll want it to be $20 an hour, then 30, 40, 50, etc...It's never enough.
