        A 'line drive' is action of a baseball being hit by the bat. If you are familiar with cricket, only small similarities. Ball= similar1/

        Pitcher action throwing the ball = similar; then the batter, using a rounded bat from end to end, whereas cricket is flat bat = that's 2/

        allows for many spinning balls to result=not controllable; 'line drive' is low hard straight (no curved flight) hit ball which comes very4/
