In a decade, there will be a statue of their other great national symbol: the computer hacking criminal.

Why would anyone celebrate an instrument of death?
-
Are not most monuments, statues, national days etc symbols of death, war, victory, conquest

-
It's one thing to honor the dead who defended us, another to celebrate that which killed them. Think about that.
-
I have, it's relative. What one country/person does in defence can be seen by another as aggression. Do guns defend or kill? Both maybe.
-
Without question, both.

It's good to find consensus.

Maybe Trump can borrow this from Putin for our Fourth of July military parade. Maybe the NRA could carry it.
