Colleges, even with affirmative action, can’t seem to enroll freshman classes as diverse as the national populationhttp://nyti.ms/2wmSB78

While diversity is a good thing, it's not the job of colleges to enroll freshman classes that reflect the national population just because.

That's because they dig so deep to accept white males with credentials substantially lower than female applicants (any race) and Asian males

Well, what can they do? Lower the SAT scores even more? Offer remedial classes in Math & English? Colleges should have some standards!

Look at the education system? Blaming the kids is lame. There's a reason for the disparity. Or shall we continue to pretend it's the kids?

The kids have libraries and Google. They have to educate themselves. The problem is that they don't have the eye of the tiger. Want it!

More then not, many people can't afford college. You can get all the financial aid, but it doesn't come close to the actual cost.

It's because of financial aid that it is that expensive. Government subsidies drove up the cost. https://www.forbes.com/sites/timworstall/2015/08/03/increased-tuition-subsidies-increase-the-price-of-college-tuition/ …
