Why doesn’t Japan shoot down North Korea’s missiles? It’s constrained by its Constitution and its capabilities.http://nyti.ms/2f1p9Zi

It's like asking a short stop to catch every fly ball to left field! have a limited range and IC/IRBMs on the edge of space are out-a-range

I think it is time to trust Japan and let them expand their military and shoot down missiles. They will play a key role in conflict with NK.

Maybe the answer is: The anti missile thing does not work. USA can shoot down one missile. Big deal. What happens when 20 come whistling by?

And most of Asia hates and fears Japan because of their history, like Nanking. Reason to fear militarized Japan.

Any interference/trespassing in to a nation's space be dealt with total determination of self-protection. Instant & intense. Too much!!

Because of its Constitution, Japan can't defend itself. Who needs defense, surrounded by North Korea, China, and Russia? (sarcasm)

Well that just sounds stupid. A missile can fly over your entire country and you just say your pacifists? OK. Glad it didn't come up short.
