Can you follow this up with How To React When You Are Declined Coverage, because that's a real thing.

I would not be surprised if Trump attempted to use these federal funds for Harvey victims to build his crazy wall. I don't trust him.

& even if don't have flood ins. you can count on the gov't bailing you out, as it did & continues to do, at taxpayer expense, after Sandy.
-
FEMA will pay out AT MOST ~33k for homeowners w/o ins...those with ins do not get FEMA aid. Never met anyone who got full 30k.

3a. If you don't hear from your adjuster CALL NFIP and get your agency info, call the agency ASAP. Degraded cell service--you may miss call
-
after aug 2016 flood adjuster thought wrong # for me was on file. due to packed schedule didn't get to meet until 2 weeks after flood
-
the LONGER you wait b/c unavailability, not doing paperwork, etc, the further you get in queue. BE ON TOP OF THINGS.
-
we submitted asap aug '16--didn't have our claim approved and paid til well after november. the process is SLOW. and we had a good adjuster
-
most importantly--be nice. it's an awful situation and you're going to be hurt. but real humans are on those phone lines, treat them kindly

I'm sorry, I don't think I understand? I'm trying to share my experience as a flood victim to help others. NFIP is a nightmare. I'm not rich

Do it before 9/1. New law will make it much harder to file these claims.
