        If fake news is free, credible news has to be free too. No doubt the emergence of fake news propaganda is related to charging for real news.

        But no one is buying the paper. They make their money on digital subscriptions now. I can't even get a copy of the Times where I live in SC

        Yeah. They solved it by charging for online content. Giving 10 stories away for free is a gift really. BTW, they do have student discount.
