Opinion: Single payer is a policy choice, not a principle. The principle is universal coverage.http://nyti.ms/2uHxkAc

Singlepayer is good for businesses by cutting what they contribute and allowing new hires. Also allows a new entrepreneurial class to grow.

The Charlie Gard situation had nothing to do with single payer but with British law taking into account the best interest of the patient.

Service tied to outcome would improve results and weed out nonproductive medical costs. It can be done. Saving lives and money.

Why does health care need to be profitable? Private Insurance is not needed. Hospitals need to be non-profit.

Profit motivates better service. I believe a hybrid system that provides basic coverage to all and better service for money.
