I completely agree, it may take a while to see the repercussion of the Trump adm but it will happen

Okay, so we lose a few tech companies... but Trump is still bringing back the coal jobs renaissance, right?

Don't panic. New points based system is not a deterrent. It's borrowed from Canada and UK which uses similar system.
-
Except for the part about restricting family immigration.
-
There is no God given right. Every family must be a net or potential net contributor to society. Each case will be decided on its merits

Why does constitution and God always come up? What about morality? Compassion? Doing what's right? America has become a shadow of itself.
-
We are a nation founded on God & the Constitution. Compassion & morality based immigration system is a fine but an unworkable concept here

Maybe he's right about it. That's why the US is the most despicable place in the world, full of people who only care about themselves...

Rather than the world & people around them, whether they're part of their country or not. That's made it the greatest threat to humanity...

No morals, no humanity, no critical thinking, pure individualism that's allowed the rise of racism, nativism & xenophobia like nowhere else.

This is fake news. It's the lower end visas that Trump is trying to stop.
-
Perception is everything. And you get the feeling that the US doesn't really WANT those immigrants. That's enough to make Canada attractive.
-
The visas are being abused and even the Indians are being taken advantage of in current system. What Disney did was too high profile.

Yeah, what a shame, Silicon Valley will have to hire Americans and not game the system like they do now by importing cheap labor.
-
I don't know a single Silicon Valley biz that wouldn't make an offer tomorrow to a qualified US citizen. These are high skill/high wage jobs
