They need to make the process far easier. I know a lot of people of all ages who couldn't figure out what to do & phone help isn't helpful.

I have insurance under ACA. It does need improvement. My deductible is $6k, so in reality I can only afford the included well visits
-
Ditto, my deductible is high, but if I were seriously injured, or had a major illness or pre-existing condition, I wouldn't be devastated.
-
Thanks for adding that balance to discussion. Most don't. It's usually "I pay a high premium so f*^k ACA" which is an unproductive approach

I am on the fence. You'll end up getting denied coverage when/if you ever actually need it or you'll be charged more for lapse in coverage.
-
But yeah it sucks paying monthly for something you don't use.
-
I pay for car insurance, never had a claim. I'm 62. Everyone needs to have comprehensive, affordable health insurance.
-
Well u get it! Can't understand y others don't .

Awesome! Congrats to you, Cathy!
-
Thank you!!!! There are million of stories like mine. They don't realize most drs won't even see you without insurance. It was a blessing
-
I don't doubt it! It's absolutely ridiculous. I have cancer and can't imagine going thru this w/o insurance. I think about that frequently.
-
I so glad you are able to get the medical care you need. I have a son in law battling stage 4 renal cancer. He has to have insurance
-
Only good thoughts and positive vibes for your son in law and you as well!! I wouldn't wish cancer on my worst enemies. It's a daily battle.
-
You too ! best wishes and prayers. It is an evil disease.
