@mattpetersen_ai Would have been interesting to test the treatment so we can help others with the disorder in future. At least they tried. -
According to British reports the US doctor had never evaluated the boy or his case and had a financial interest in the treatment.
-
Oh, is there misinformation afoot? >.> Hmmm
-
Try reading Brit paper covering hearings

Having twice been party to having to make the decision 2 let someone die, I actually applaud a system that says enough is enough.
-
The arguments for attempting treatment include furthering understanding of disease severity & progression, & usefulness of available drugs
-
So I'm on the side that treatment would have potential benefits in the long term.

Basically courts are responsible for Charlie's passing when he does. How heartbreaking for his parents
#CharlieGard -
No. His condition is responsible.
-
The courts basically said "we know better than you, his parents." It's not just the condition but the unwilling to try to fix the condition.
-
Again the doctors had made the call. The courts accepted the doctors judgment. Reverse of US where gov knows more than doctors.
-
Wow. To even begin to compare this tragedy to getting an abortion in america is horrifying. That's literally pathetic. And also wrong.
-
In America the final say is given to the person. We have actual freedom here is why. You can twist that and lie if ya want. Won't change it.

Carter it was a discussion on ethics and personal beliefs. I'm sorry if adults talking bothers you. Have a nice day. Bye

lawyers and courts impeded their trip so long that by the time the parents met with specialists, the childs condition had becom irreversible
-
You're wrong. The US Dr was invited to examine Charlie and his records in Jan and failed to do so. https://t.co/Kx9yeMsfsq?amp=1
