Virtually open-ended talking therapy therapy? Few people would recognise this in the UK where mental health services have been decimated.

A national scandal. Talking therapy is increasingly being linked to a 'get people back to work' or else nothing agenda which is v damaging.

Work and therapy can be harmful .. neither should be forced on somebody .. that's just cruel

Research shows that therapy is valued more & used better when clients pay for it. I'm a therapist, and I've seen it in practice.

Compared to what? Your experience or empirical evidence. So, what do mass shootings all have in common?

Well than England is brilliant, because nothing would generate more wealth (to put it in capitalist terms) than to alleviate the anxiety

It's a great scheme but mental health is still under funded in the UK. There are huge funding challenges for the NHS in general.

The UK scheme is free and flexible, in the sense that it is as relevant for people who are both in and out of work.
