Oh no ! How fucked up is all the bureaucratic laws in this world! Throw gay men off roofs
or a chance at saving a baby

The baby had no chance. He was brain dead. Only treatment left was experimental and could not help him and might have hurt him.
-
Are you a doctor or a God, certainly not the mother. There is always a chance.
-
Not a doctor. Check the diagnosis for yourself. 100% mortality rate. Every single doctor agreed. Am a mom who lost 2 and there is no god.

Your bias is showing when you choose the word "prolong" over "save." Their effort was to save his life.
-
No, prolong is the perfect word for this sad case.

What a sad result. Could they be allowed to leave without court permission since Pres. Trump is ready to help them and the child? My opinion
-
The obvs answer, if one is not a totalitarian, is Yes. Children R not state property. No state can have right 2 stop parents helping child.
-
Children are no-ones property. Not parents not state. Case is not about rights but about whether 'treatment' is in child's interests
-
Children R obvs not property, true. But point u make also means they are not the state's property. *Principle of subsidiarity* applies. No ?

You're failing to understand because you've spent all of 2 minutes thinking about it.

That diagnosis is fatal. Never reversible. Google it. Or Mayo Clinic. Or any reputable source.

These poor people were made to wait through a lengthy ct process..a year.. till he had deteriorated and the treatments wd not help.
Painful -
Court process was expedited. Decision made in April. Each subsequent appeal hearing was at the request of parents. Not 'made to wait'
-
Not true. The subsequent hearings were to allow the parents to treat him elsewhere.Had the hospital and court let the parents BEPARENTS..WELL
-
No they weren't- read the judgement https://www.judiciary.gov.uk/judgments/great-ormond-street-hospital-v-yates-and-gard-24-july-2017/ …
