What is China' motivation to help with NK? Where is China's national interest threatened by NK? Sharing choc cake only goes so far.

China created N Korea as a buffer puppet state against the west in the 50s. Now China completely lost control and have no idea what to do.

China supposedly thinks long term/border refugees on N.Korea. But its inaction will tempt NK to be rash. Then China can reap what it fears.
