I disagree. The Vatican acknowledged the situation is dire and they expect the outcome to be the child passing. They want to comfort.

The true tragedy is the American doctor giving them hope for prolonged life on peer reviewed evidence that this procedure does not.

There is a treatment in America that could prove rewarding for this child n others in the same light.

Pls read the article. Doctors state that his condition too severe for that treatment. As a parent I'd push for miracles too. Heartbreaking.

I did but I think it's the parents choice to try. I wouldn't go to this extreme I believe but I am not in this situation.
