Parents not governments should decide. Period. Freedom to CHOOSE lasts beyond the womb. #Fascism

Makes an assumption that parents are always acting objectively & in the best interests of the child. It's why bioethics exist in democracies

And had poor dear Charlie been born in the US, his horrible rare disease would be a preexisting condition not covered under Trumpcare

I disagree. The Vatican acknowledged the situation is dire and they expect the outcome to be the child passing. They want to comfort.

The true tragedy is the American doctor giving them hope for prolonged life on peer reviewed evidence that this procedure does not.

On this issue I agree with the editorial opinion. The court has ruled. Love the child by creating no further pain for him to suffer. ❤️

Pls read the article. Doctors state that his condition too severe for that treatment. As a parent I'd push for miracles too. Heartbreaking.

I did but I think it's the parents choice to try. I wouldn't go to this extreme I believe but I am not in this situation.

I get the Pope's comments he is a spiritual leader after all, but Trumps are 100% political for HIS benefit and it's cruel.

Unrelated story. Courts have ruled, he's President and this is British domestic law he's sticking his nose in and it's wrong on many levels
