#Criminalization is not the answer for undocumented migration. Sadly, our leaders seem content with scapegoating, regardless of outcome.

We need sensible #ImmigrationReform. Blanket criminalization of undocumented immigrants will hurt families & lead to more racial profiling.

Why can't we deport the current occupier of Oval Office instead? It would be a win-win for all concerned.

When you adopt children in the Netherlands and they grow up in your family, they will never ever send away to their birthcountry

Always sorry to hear someone taking their own life. But if he was deported it's because at the very least he was here illegally. If not more

Instead of making assumptions why don't you actually read about his case? He was adopted at 10, his adoptive parents are to blame for 1/?

not getting him citizenship. He got deported in his 40s because of their mistakes, something he couldn't control and he killed himself. 2/3

And I think you missed the part where I said it's never a good thing to hear when someone takes their own life, so obv I sympathize w/ that.

But you HAD to say something about immigration issues justifying the actions that led to him taking his life. So no, you don't sympathize. 🖕

You bringing up his "illegality" means you are using it to say this is less than completely horrible. Hell no.

Like many foreign adoptees his "illegality" was his adopted parents error to file the right paperwork. Deporting these people is inhumane.
